HELP WANTED! Master Automotive Technician

European and Foreign Motor Works is a well established, locally owned, and operated auto repair shop conveniently located on the west side of Indianapolis. Our business has been built on integrity, honesty, and quality workmanship, always using the latest technology and state of the art machinery. We are looking for a master automotive technician to join our team. This position will have steady work coming in and the opportunity for competitive compensation.

$$$Compensation based on certifications, experience, and skills and can be discussed to meet a mutually beneficial agreement. If the applicant is a master technician and meets the following requirements then the pay can be negotiated and set as a high flat rate plus other compensation incentive or bonus. We are willing to work with anyone qualified to accommodate their needs in regards to compensation and make both parties comfortable.

Job requirements:

ASE certification (preferred)

Excellent communication skills

Should have their own tools

Knowledge of special tools and equipment required to conduct all repairs (special tools & equipment provided by the shop)

Ability to operate diagnostic tools Preferred but not required

Utilize the latest in diagnostic equipment to accurately pinpoint vehicle issues

Documenting work performed on each vehicle on the repair order

Conducting multi-point inspections to make appropriate recommendations to ensure safety and reliability of customer vehicles

Ability to work independently without supervision

Experience working with foreign cars

Shop Description:

At European and Foreign Motor Works we are dedicated to providing a quality workspace for our employees to utilize their expertise. Our shop is equipped with the latest technology and equipment including Robinair AC machine, OEM scanners, and the latest model of Autel scanner to help you complete the necessary work on the vehicles we are provided with by our customers. We currently have 6 car lifts, 1 of the latest alignment machines, and a 4 post alignment rack with a scissor lift built-in that will help the technician complete the job properly and comfortably. Urgent need for mechanic help, available to start ASAP.
